Bryan High Choir Placement 2021-2022

This year has been another amazing year for choir even though we faced numerous challenges. We feel very blessed to teach and interact with amazing kids everyday. We have an incredible group of current and incoming choir students and assigning students to each choir was not an easy task.

Below you will find the structure of choirs at Bryan High.

Junior Varsity Choir:
Beginning Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, & Seniors

Concert Choirs:
Intermediate Freshmen & Sophomores; Beginning Juniors & Seniors

Viking Singers:
Advanced Freshmen; Intermediate Sophomores, Juniors, & Seniors

Chorale:
Advanced Sophomores, Juniors, & Seniors

Vocal Legacy:
Advanced Sophomores, Juniors, & Seniors that are also enrolled in Chorale

If you wish to be in a different choir, here are ways to earn a spot before next year's spring evaluations.

Make 9-12 All Region Choir. If a sophomore/junior/senior earns a spot in the 9-12 All Region Choir, we will move the student into Chorale immediately or at the beginning of the spring semester (if no behavior/rehearsal/eligibility issues). If a freshman makes 9- 12 All Region Choir, we will move the student into Chorale at the beginning of the next school year.
Make 9-10 All Region Choir. If a freshman earns a spot in the 9-10 All Region Choir, we will move the student into Viking Singers immediately or at the beginning of the spring semester (if no behavior/rehearsal/eligibility issues).
We will hold mid-year evaluations to possibly promote students that show they are ready for a more advanced class.

***If your name does not appear on any of the choir lists it means you are currently not signed up for choir for the 2021-2022 school year.
